Load and position sensor EMS122

The EMS122 load and position sensor is designed to measure the load on the polished rod and determine its position. The EMS122 operates with rod pump controllers and is engineered for reliable performance in harsh oilfield environments, including desert conditions, extreme northern climates, and areas with aggressive substances and explosive gases.

Description

The EMS122 generates an amplified signal from a strain gauge bridge used to determine the load, as well as a signal from an integrated accelerometer used to calculate the position of the polished rod. For convenience and reliability, both sensors are integrated into a single standardized housing.

High measurement accuracy is achieved through precision manufacturing, temperature compensation, and individual testing of each sensor during production.

The standardized housing allows the EMS122 to be easily installed as a replacement for load and position sensors from other manufacturers.

The monolithic housing design simplifies installation and maintenance of the EMS122.

The sensor is connected to the controller using a specialized high-flexibility cable, ensuring reliable operation in demanding field conditions.
