Hummingwell has acquired Naftamatika through a cash purchase, bringing its technology, brand and intellectual property portfolio under Hummingwell’s ownership and strategic direction. The acquisition adds technology shaped by years of engineering and field experience to Hummingwell’s work in rod-pump automation and well optimization.
Naftamatika’s work began with a practical goal: to help operators better understand and control rod-pumped wells. Years of development, field experience and customer feedback have shaped the technology behind that work.
The portfolio includes the WellSim Pump-Off Controller, NaftaSCADA, the Oil Well Simulator, sensors and related software, algorithms and technical documentation. Hummingwell plans to build on this foundation through continued work with the people who use the technology in the field.
