Software defined transceiver modem is designed to provide high-speed communication link between distant objects of oilfield to transfer telemetric data and commands through a jamproof coded channel.
Based on National Instruments sbRIO platform, transceiver has architecture of software defined radio (SDR).
SDR architecture allows to change and tune parameters on-the-fly assuring best possible link between objects in mesh topology. Transceiver architecture consists of RF input/output ports and mixed hardware-software signal processing subsystem. High-performance FPGA performs RF modulation and demodulation processing under control of real-time controller CPU. GPS/GLONASS receiver is built into each Transceiver to synchronize all data in a common time scale.
